I write poems that move between text and performance. Some are created for the page, others for live presentation. I am interested in what happens when poetry is spoken aloud, and in the responses generated by the interplay of language, space, and the social body.
Alongside my textual work, I develop word-based and sound performances. I work with electronic sounds, field recordings, and reduced musical structures—not as background, but as an integral part of immersive poetic spaces of resonance.
I have been working publicly with poetry and performance since 2004. I have read in bars and techno clubs, performed on the subway, and appeared on some of the most beautiful and largest theater stages.
I am part of the German-language poetry slam scene and regularly host related formats. In addition, I write commissioned texts and host events for companies, museums, and institutions. Depending on the project, I curate and accompany readings, literary events, and poetry slams. I also lead writing workshops for young people and adults—in Germany and internationally.
