Hello, my name is Ken Yamamoto.
I write poems for the page and the stage, and I’m part of the Berlin-based literature collective parallelgesellschaft. I work with and without electronic live ambient music – solo or as part of the WAVES × WORDS ensemble. I read and perform in bars, clubs, theatres, museums, and at festivals. Sometimes I lead Workshops. I also host events for Kampf der Künste.
I like courtyards, flocks of pigeons, night drives, and the hiss of traffic. I believe in processes, drafts, revisions—and in the creative unfinishedness of everything.
